Greenville SC Engagement Session – Lacy and DJ
I absolutely love it when our couples have a vision for what vibe they want for their engagement photos. Its amazing how much it adds to the photos when they plan and add details that really let their personality shine though. I knew the first time I talked to Lacy that she had a vision for her and DJ’s Greenville engagement session. The more I heard her talk about it, the more excited I was to shoot the session. From the handmade signs to the amazing vintage styled cruiser bicycle it couldn’t have been more perfect. And after spending time with them during the session I realize that it totally fit their fun personalities.
We met at the top of Falls Park on what was yet another perfect weather day in Greenville,SC. It had been calling for rain earlier that morning but we lucked out and it was absolutely beautiful downtown. We took some shots around the top of the park, then strolled down to the back of the park stopping along the way for some great shots. The vintage cruiser bicycle could not have been more perfect for the back road of Falls Park near the wall of ivy. After some time down in the park we walked up Main street to a spot in front of the Westin Poinsett where it was perfect for a little dancing in the streets. After some fun on that end of downtown we ventured down near the West End for some shots near the infamous Coca Cola wall at Augusta and Main. This had even more meaning as Lacy’s dad worked for Coca Cola for several years. We ended the evening chasing a perfect sunset to a newly found spot downtown with some great sky views.
I had so much fun with these two. Not only were they great in front of the camera, but also just genuinely awesome people. I can’t wait for the wedding in October!
Enjoy some of my favorite shots from the day!
