Chelsea and Jimmy were amazing to work with. Their Urban Wren Winery wedding was the perfect way for us to start off our 2021 wedding season. It was our first time working at Urban Wren Winery, and I have to say the space there is gorgeous. Plus they have an amazing team in place and the food is superb. New places always excite me and get the creative juices flowing. Add to that an amazing couple that never hesitated to take an extra minute or go the extra mile for a great shot (which means more to us that you know) and it made for us as photographers the perfect day.
We started off at the Homewood Suites downtown for some getting ready shots with the bride as the girls from Cotton Rouge helped the party get ready, then after spending some time with the groom getting ready we made our way to the venue for the first look. When we arrived we had a little shower of rain but no worries as there was a covered area outside that was perfect for their reveal. After the first look we spent some time inside the gorgeous venue with the couple and the rain stopped just in time for some family photos and sunset photos with the bride and groom before the ceremony.
After a beautiful ceremony against a picture perfect backdrop the guests made their way to an amazing dinner and then the party on the dance floor began. Brent and the team from Sounds Unlimited kept the party going and the dance floor moving. It was truly an amazing evening.
I can’t thank Chelsea and Jimmy enough for being so cool and fun to work with. Their wedding was yet again a reminder of how blessed I feel to be able to do this for a living. Pleas enjoy some of my personal favs from this day.
Cheers!
-John
