Spartanburg Country Club Wedding – Jakie + Charlie – Spartanburg SC Wedding Photographers

What an awesome day. That’s exactly what I thought as we were leaving Jakie and Charlie’s Spartanburg Country Club Wedding and Reception. This was actually our first time shooting at this particular venue and I have to say they do an amazing job hosting a wedding. Jakie and Charlie were married outside overlooking the golf course and what a view it was. It is always cool when our couples incorporate their personalty into their wedding and that’s exactly what they did. First off it was no coincidence that they were married overlooking the beautiful golf course. Charlie is an avid golfer, and from what everyone tells me he’s really good at it too, having won several tournaments including at least one event here at the Spartanburg Country Club. Another personal touch was the amazing food by the chefs at the country club.(the word amazing doesn’t even do it justice) The food was divided into stations representing different countries all of which they were visiting on their honeymoon. Each station would have been amazing for a wedding on its own but when put together it was mind blowing. Even the way they left was original and personal, on Charlie’s Harley motorcycle. Jakie even had a veil attached to her helmet!

Seriously this was an amazing event. Add to all the above an awesome band, The Back 9 band from Spartanburg, which I have to say is probably my new favorite wedding band. You can ask Anne , it takes a lot for a band to impress me. I’ll admit that my years as a working musician when I was younger has made me super critical on bands, but these guys really impressed me. Great vocals, which a lot of bands totally miss these days. I could go on and on about the band but I digress.
