Even with a threat of rain I knew Kristen and Thomas’s Holly Tree Country Club wedding was going to be epic. Luckily for us it did rain. I know right now you are are saying “What?”. Let me explain. It did rain , but only during the ceremony which was inside. And afterwards the sky was amazing for couples portraits at sunset. That amazing kind of sky you only get when it rains. So for all you prospective brides know it isn’t the end of the world if there is a little rain on your wedding day, it can actually be a good thing.
We had a blast with these two, their families and their friends. It was an epic day full of laughs and smiles. (and dancing too) Please enjoy some of our favs from the day!

One of my favorite shots of the day. We had some awesome warm glowing light after the rain storm.
Sunset in front of Holly Tree Country Club equals wedding day magic. Love this shot!
One of my favorite things about weddings at Holly Tree is the fact that you have the entire golf course at your disposal for couples portraits. We had an epic time with Kristen and Thomas!
Now that is a sunset!
The look on Kristen’s face when she saw her dad for the first time in her dress before the wedding was priceless!
Kristen was a stunning bride!
This group of groomsmen was a blast!
These two were all smiles and pure joy during their first dance!
As a total surprise instead of a father daughter dance Kristen and her day played two songs on guitar and banjo! They even switched instruments between songs!
The bride and the bridesmaids even performed a dance at the reception! Too cool!
At the end of the reception the bride and groom made a grand exit though sparklers in front of the Country Club. It was epic!
