Cowpens SC Wedding – Savannah + Phillip

What a beautiful June afternoon for a wedding. Savannah and Phillip could not have had a more perfect day for their Cowpens, SC wedding. We arrived at the church to find the girls getting ready. After a few shots of some details and the dress (which was an amazing Mori Lee dress!) it was time to get ready for the first look. One of my favorite moments of the day by far was the first look. You could see the excitement and emotion all over their faces as they awaited the wedding. Once we took some fun shots of the wedding party we moved back inside for a beautiful ceremony led by Phillip’s father (also the pastor of the church) After the ceremony the couple left the church through a wall of bubbles.

The reception was perfect. The decor was amazing and the guest dined on some awesome cuisine by Laurenda’s Catering. I have to admit they are one of my favorites. If you get a chance, check out her restaurant in Greer where you can try her amazing food. After cutting the cake and tossing the bouquet, the couple made their grand sparkler exit.

We had such a great time working with these two and getting to know them thought the whole wedding experience. Please enjoy some of my favs from the day.

It was hard to hold back the emotions as Savannah and her mom shared a moment before the wedding.

All of her bridesmaids were so helpful during the day. Here they are helping her with the finishing touches to the dress.

This shot says it all. You can see the emotion on her face before she sees her future husband for the first time. I love it when our couples decide on a first look. It is such a great intimate moment for them and makes for great photos!
