Martie and Jonathan’s South Wind Ranch wedding was everything I knew it would be. From the moment I met these two I knew they were our kinda people and that their day was going to be amazing. We met up with the wedding party in the fabulous bridal suite at South Wind Ranch. (I mean seriously the bridal suite alone is reason enough to plan your wedding here.) We shot some detail photos and had some time with both the groomsmen and bridesmaids before the ceremony began. And did I mention we got to witness one of the sweetest moments between Martie and her dad as he was given a gift then followed by a surprise first look. From there it was on to a beautiful ceremony in the outdoor chapel before it was time to get the party started.
As the guests made their way into the reception they mingled for a cocktail hour before having what I would say was my favorite food we have had at a wedding all year. Seriously Time to Taste knocked it out of the park with the southwestern menu. Its hard to put into words how good it truly was, but I digress. The guest danced into the evening before it was time for the couple to be whisked away into the night after a grand sparkler exit.
