Rock Quarry Garden Engagement Session – Greenville,SC – Megan + Adam
Fall in downtown Greenville,SC had to be one of the top places on earth for an engagement session. And that being said the Rock Quarry Garden has to be one of the best places in downtown Greenville for an engagement session. Although with popularity means be ready to fight the crowd when you go there. While we were there we witnessed two family sessions, an engagement session, and a surprise proposal all while we were shooting our session. Crazy huh? Well needless to say I think we had the most fun but I am biased. But seriously, our couples are the best and Megan and Adam are no exception. I first met Megan when we shot her sister’s wedding. Did I mention that one of my favorite things is getting to work with family or bridal party members of our past brides. It is probably the highest compliment that we can get and it never gets old, but I digress.
When I first met with Megan and Adam it was obvious right away that they were not only crazy for each other but that they were a perfect fit to work with us. I was ecstatic when they chose the Rock Quarry Garden for their e-session. We met them at the top of the park and started out in some of the more secluded parts of the park along the top trail and worked our way across the bridge to the most open grassy part of the garden for some great walking shots. We also got some pretty epic shots shooting toward the sun on that side of the park. The sky was a prefect backdrop. As I said earlier there were quite a few people in the park that afternoon so we decided to head across the street to Cleveland Park. (Yet another reason to love the Rock Quarry is the other locations within a close proximity) We had a lot of fun shooting along the bridge in that park and taking full advantage to the wide open spaces surrounding it. We made it back to the Rock Quarry just in time for twilight to get some awesome shot of them on the bridge.
I really enjoyed our time with Megan and Adam. They were a lot of fun to work with and I can’t wait for their 2016 wedding! Enjoy some of my favorites from the day!
