Downtown Greenville SC Engagement – Mary Beth + Maurice – Greenville,SC Wedding Photographers
There are so many things I love about Fall. Football season gets underway, apple cider, Thanksgiving, Starbucks’ Salted Caramel Mochas, pumpkin pie … and of course the fall leaves and how they seem to glow in photos. Not so fond of the cold weather, but some photos are worth cold noses and numb toes.
Maurice and Mary Beth engagement photos taken at Falls Park in Downtown Greenville are everything that is best about Fall … cool crisp air and amazingly beautiful red, orange and yellow leaves on the trees. The yellow leaves glowed and so did this fabulous and fun couple.
The cold weather proved to be a great incentive for these two nurses to snuggle close as we meandered through the park listening as Mary Beth told us how Maurice proposed. He enlisted her friends and family to create a proposal video. Believe it or not, all of her friends and family kept the secret until Maurice, who faked being sick so Mary Beth wouldn’t suspect anything, surprised her. I was impressed that everyone could keep quiet about it, since Maurice had to work pretty hard on the project before hand.
The couple posed throughout the park and in front of the Reedy River falls, but as the sun set we headed under the bridge toward the Wyche Pavilion and the Peace Center. After a quick outfit change, we checked out the water wall at the Peace Center. It was a great backdrop for Maurice and Mary Beth. Toward the end of the evening, the sky began to turn pink and gold for some great shots. Then as the sun set, the city lights glimmered in the backdrop of some wonderful silhouettes of Mary Beth and Maurice. We can’t wait to shoot this couple’s wedding in July 2015 at the Loom.
Enjoy some of my favorites from their downtown Greenville, SC engagement session!
