Greenbrier Farms Wedding – Stefani+Steven – Rustic Farm Wedding Near Greenville,SC

Talk about the picture perfect day for an outdoor farm wedding.  When we arrived at Greenbrier Farms for Stefani and Steven’s big day, the moment we stepped out of the car I knew it was going to be a good day. The weather was a perfect 70 something sunny day with absolutely zero humidity. We scouted out some locations since they had decided to do a first look (which I love) and then went and shot some details before it was time for the bride to get dressed. The light coming in the windows of the barn made it the perfect setting for the last minute getting ready details.

For the first look we headed outside in front of rows of grapevines. It never gets old getting to capture these moments. The first look is probably one of my absolute favorite parts of the wedding day. When couples choose to do this I couldn’t be happier. It is such a great intimate moment and makes for amazing photos. The light was perfect and you could tell by the looks captured on their faces that Stefani and Stephen were so in love and happy that their wedding day was here.

After the first look we spent some time with the family and wedding party and it was into the pasture for the ceremony. After the first glance at the location it is evident that if you are a bride and have always dreamed of a rustic outdoor farm wedding, this is THE spot. There it was, a massive oak tree, backlit and sun kissed in the middle of a pasture of waiving grass. This is the stuff novels are written about. For lack of better words it was a picture perfect moment. After a beautiful ceremony we had the pleasure of taking some some great couples shots and it was off to the reception.

The barn was immaculately decorated. There were so many personal touches to the details that you could walk into this room and felt like you’ve known the couple for years even if you had just met them. The food was a work of art in itself. They had a farm to table feast prepared, including chefs making brick oven pizzas from ingredients fresh from the farm just footsteps away. Guests dined, danced, and mingled until the late hours of the evening.

It was truly an honor to be able to capture this amazing day with an amazing couple. We had such a great time with Stefani, Stephen, their family, and friends. Everyone was so nice and such a pleasure to work with. Days like this are constant reminders of why I have the greatest job in the world.
