Glassy Chapel Wedding – Old Cigar Warehouse Reception – Sarah + Jason – Greenville,SC
Even a washing rain couldn’t stop Sarah and Jason’s wedding day from being a completely awesome day. But once you consider that they had chosen two of the best venues in the state for their wedding (Glassy Chapel) and reception (The Old Cigar Warehouse), had an amazing supporting cast of bridesmaids, groomsmen, family, and friends, and a dream team of wedding vendors it is no surprise. And did I mention they were one of the most laid back, fun couples that we have had the pleasure to work with this year. All of this helped make it an amazing day.
We started off our day at the Hampton downtown with the girls getting ready. Katie Cotton of Cotton Rouge was there doing her magic on the bride and bridesmaids. She is always so awesome to work with and always does an amazing job. Greenville brides are lucky to have her and her girls in this area. We had a lot of fun hanging out with the girls and taking some detail shots of the dress and shoes. From there it was on to the Cliffs at Glassy clubhouse to put on the dress.
We arrived at the Cliffs to find what we expected to …rain, rain, and more rain. But one really good thing about Glassy Chapel is that even with the rain there are so many great spots for photos. The Chapel is absolutely beautiful on the inside. And after a gorgeous ceremony Sarah and Jason were adventurous enough to take some shots in the rain in front of the Chapel. I am in love with how those shots turned out. It really makes a difference when couples trust us to do what we do and are up for trying something outside the box.
From Glassy Chapel we were off to the Old Cigar Warehouse in downtown Greenville,SC where we started off with some photos of family and the wedding party and then it was off to cocktail hour and shortly after dinner. The dinner was an amazing “Night in Charleston” theme by the amazing team at Good Life Catering. The food was delicious and the presentation was immaculate complete with a Liquid Nitrogen fueled ice cream bar. After dinner the couple cut their beautiful (and tasty) cake from Kathy and Co. The guests danced the night away as local favorite Uptown Entertainment kept the party going and the dance floor full (as they always do!). The rain even broke long enough for us to capture some epic moments with Sarah and Jason outside the Old Cigar Warehouse. We even stopped traffic right on Main St. for a few shots!
We had such a great time with Sarah and Jason and their day was truly amazing. A big thanks to Jennifer Dennis with Love this Little City for her job coordinating the day, Brandon with Southern Jewel Videography for being so awesome to work with, and Adam with Uptown Entertainment for keeping the party going smooth.
Please enjoy some of my favorites from the day!
