Kate and Nick’s Asheville,NC Outdoor wedding was epic. The setting could not have been more beautiful. Picture a huge open field overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains at a location just minutes off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville.NC. Words are hard to do it justice. We met up with Kate and her 15 bridesmaids before the wedding for some getting ready shots and then headed out underneath the gorgeous mountain backdrop for some photos before getting them away back inside to cool off while we shot the guys photos. Soon after it was time for the ceremony set right there overlooking the mountains and then it was time for the reception to kick off, and let me tell you it was a party.
DJ Howie D did an awesome job entertaining the crowd. The party rocked into the night as guests danced and mingled. And let’s just say I don’t think I can ever hear the AC/DC song Thunderstruck again without thinking of this awesome wedding party. Seriously what a great group, they were so much fun! At the end of the evening the couple made a grand exit in an awesome vintage Mustang!
This was such a great event and I can’t thank Kate, Nick, their family and friends enough for being so cool. Please enjoy some of my favs from the day!
