Mattie and Alex had a picture perfect day for their Pretty Place wedding. We started the day with beautiful weather at the amazing Symmes Chapel (one of my favorites places to shoot) for their wedding ceremony ,then on the way back to Greenville for their reception at Artisan Traders we stopped for a few bride and groom shots at Bald Rock. We had such a great time with these two and their amazing families and friends. I can’t thank everybody enough for their hospitality and kindness. By the end of the night we felt like part of the family!
Please enjoy some of my favs from the day!

It’s hard to beat the epic scenery of Pretty Place for a wedding ceremony. We are truly blessed to have this wedding venue just minutes away from Greenville,SC.
On the way down the mountain headed to the reception in Greenville we stopped at Bald Rock for some Bride and Groom portraits. The overlook is amazing atĀ golden hour!
Yeah I have to admit having a couple standing this close to the edge of a cliff does tend to make me a little nervous, but it turned out pretty epic!
That light on the veil!
These two decided to have a first look before the wedding ceremony. Such a great moment!
I love this shot of the bride and her dad walking down the aisle.
What a beautiful day for a wedding in the mountains at Symmes Chapel.
They had a beach theme for their reception.
In the middle of the bride and father dance, her dad fell! Luckily he was ok, and they kept dancing as if nothing had happened.
Now that’s a ring!
The guests packed the floor for the Cha Cha slide!
At the end of the night they continued with the beach theme and had their grand exit though the guests passing beach balls back and forth. Such a unique and cool idea!
