Megan and James’s Duncan Estate Wedding in Spartanburg,SC was a day to remember. We began the day inside the gorgeous 4500+ square feet mansion that is the Duncan Estate where the girls were having their makeup and hair done by one of my personal favs, Katie from Cotton Rouge and Co. Can I just take a moment and say how amazing this house is. I mean if I tell you to close your eyes and picture a Southern style elegant mansion, that picture in your head that you see, well that is the Duncan Estate. An amazing space full of history and charm.
After getting Megan into her gorgeous dress we spent some time with the girls outside in front of the house then gave James and the groomsmen a chance to pose in front of the house. Both groups were a blast to work with. From there we had several amazing moments full of emotion including a first look with Megan and her father and brother and a super sweet moment when her and James had a first touch and prayed together before the ceremony. If you were in attendance and weren’t tearing up a bit I’d worry because it was one of the sweetest moments we have seen all year. After the pre-wedding festivities it was on to an elegant ceremony in the garden outside. It was the perfect setting and could not have been at a better time of day as far as the way the light fell on the garden. Pure Magic.
After the ceremony we spent some time with the couple on the property and then they were announced at the front of the house to kick off the party and a party it was. Our friends from The Party Machine kept the party going in to the night until it was time for an amazing sparkler grand exit. What an epic day. These two , their family and friends were amazing throughout the entire process. So happy we could be a part of this awesome day.
Please enjoy some of my favs from the day!
