Taylors Mill and Furman Bridal – Karina – Greenville Wedding Photographer
When we were planning Karina’s bridal session she wanted something a little different than the norm which anyone who know us knows that is right in our wheelhouse. After some discussion we decided on two locations (she chose our deluxe bridal package which includes this). For some fashion forward shots that lean more on the traditional beauty style, we decide to shoot out at Furman University in the Rose Garden and out by the lake. We also brought along our trusty vintage chair for these shots. For our second location we chose the Taylors Mill. This is a ridiculously cool place to shoot with endless possibilities. This location is great for a more editorial fashion look. Add to all of this that Karina was absolutely stunning and so natural in front of a camera and it all makes for one of my favorite sessions of the year so far.
We met up at the Rose Garden at Furman University. This place looks great year round. I’ve always kidded around that the reason tuition to Furman isn’t cheap is that they have to pay for the landscaping. I also must add that this is probably my favorite spot on their campus. The light just has this indescribable quality to it that make photos glow. After some great shots there we went down to an area by the lake where there were some trees and tall grass. It was the perfect place for our vintage chair. Unless you pay real close attention to the photos you would never know that is where we are. And I might add that Karina totally rocked the expressions in these shots.
After some shots there we headed to the Taylors Mill to finish up our evening as the sun hit golden hour. There are so many cool hidden gems at this location. It has a distinct charm and historic feel that I absolutely love. Karina was so fun to work with. I can’t begin to tell you how hard it has been to not share these until their wedding day. Please enjoy some of my favorites. Wedding photos coming soon!
