I have to say Madison and Wells’s Engagement Session at Greenbrier Farms in Easley,SC was one of the most fun sessions I have had this year. To begin with we had amazing weather (which is awesome because our originally scheduled date got rained out) . Beautiful blue skies with white puffy clouds were the perfect backdrop to the open fields at Greenbrier Farms. It was so great to be back out here. It truly is one of favorite places to shoot. I know I talk all the time about how some locations just have a certain mojo to them and this is one of them. Once out in the fields it feels as if you are in the middle of nowhere when actually you are only a few miles from Greenville.
We started our session out near the huge Oak tree that has become so infamous. I could tell this was going to fun as from the first click of the shutter these two just seemed totally relaxed and happy to be there. After some time out by the tree we made our way up towards the pond for a few shots there and out by this neat little pathway leading up to the pond.(another one of my favorite hidden little spots at the farm) These two did amazing at every step of the way. And it was so great getting to talk to them and really get to know them and their story. I can’t stress it enough to all couples that are getting married that when you hire vendors for your wedding hire people that want to take the time to build a personal relationship with you because the experience will be soooo much better. It is a huge part of our process, but i digress.
We ended the evening in the vineyard as the sun began to set and it was epic. Sunsets here never disappoint. I had a blast with Madison and Wells and can’t wait to celebrate with them this fall! Until then please enjoy some of my favs from this awesome engagement session!
