Yep I know that title got your attention, “Greenville SC Engagement Session in the rain”. When we were planning this session for Dallas and Eric we rescheduled at least 3 times because of the wettest summer season that I can remember. When we finally picked a day with a less than 20% chance of rain, you guessed it we got some wet weather. Luckily for us we had several breaks in the typical summer storm for some fun in the park, and as a bonus there weren’t that many people to shoot around. I love the way the skies get this super vibrant shade of blue right after a storm. Plus the last shot of the night we gave them an umbrella and had them stand out in the middle of a downpour for an epic shot that is one of my favorite engagement photos of the season. Like I tell my couples about rain on their wedding day, sometimes rain is a good thing because there are some shots you just cant get unless it does rain. Plus it makes for a great story of a day that they will always remember.
