Greenville,SC Park Engagement – Lindsay + Mike
For Lindsay and Mike’s Greenville,SC Park Engagement session we started off with a stop by the Westin Poinsett (where they are getting married this fall) to take some shots in their lounge with the piano. Mike has played for years so I was really glad that we got to do this. Anytime we can do something to make it more personal I am always up for it! After a few shots there we made it to the Rock Quarry Garden park right down the road. As we left for the park a huge storm looked to be surrounding downtown, but after a quick look at the weather radar it looked as if it would barely miss us and it totally did! One little thing that I have learned over our years of doing this that if you can catch a sunset either right after or before a storm the clouds can be amazing and they didn’t disappoint on this evening either.
We made our way around the Rock Quarry Garden stopping at several spots for a photo or two. It is one of my favorite places to shoot because the possibilities are endless! Mike and Lindsay were so much fun! I had a great time hanging out with them and I can’t wait for their wedding in Greenville this fall. Here are some of my favorites from the day!

We had a storm approaching in the background all around us but it never rained at the park. It did make an awesome backdrop for some epic backlit engagement photos!
As the sun began to set we got some awesome colors in the sky to compliment some amazing clouds!
Since they are getting married at the Westin Poinsett and Mike is a talented pianist it was a must that we made a stop by the piano at the Westin.
I have to point out that they totally nailed the clothing choice. We have couples ask us all the time,” What should we wear to our engagement session?” Our answer is always “Coordinate but don’t match” This is a perfect example of that and they look amazing!
These two were so much fun!
We had such an epic sunset to cap off the evening!
