Honored and blessed. Thats two words that come to mind when I think about the fact that we were chosen yet again to shoot the cover for the longest running wedding magazine dedicated to North and South Carolina. This year I really wanted to push the boundaries a little and get super creative. Needless to say when I found out there was interest to collaborate from award winning stylist and bridal show producer Coleen Wheeler and former International Junior Miss South Carolina and model Kennedy Kapanzhi I was so excited I couldn’t wait to shoot. Throw in the fact that we got to do the session at one of the Upstate’s newest beautiful wedding venues Edinburgh West . All of the pieces just came together.
Day of the session could not have been more fun. The team really outdid themselves. We started inside the gorgeous English conservatory with an amazing floral backdrop. And the dress. Don’t even get me started on how amazing it was. The dress was actually Kennedy’s dress from her wedding last year that she had custom made in New York City. After some shots inside Edinburgh West we decided to venture out to the iron gate entrance as the sun began to set. We broke out all sorts of creative lighting tricks from gelled flashes to smoke. Nothing makes me happier when everybody is onboard collaborating and getting creative and really taking the time to make sure everything is perfect. I can’t wait to work with this team again in the future.
We had so many photos it was really hard to narrow them down to just one for the cover. But that we did. That being said here are a few of my favs from the entire day.
Please enjoy!
