I love engagement sessions. It really is one of my favorite things to shoot as a photographer. It gives us a chance to spend quality time with our couples and really get to know them. I think it is one of the most important things a couple can do as part of the pre-wedding process with their photographer. Not only will it create some amazing art, but it helps build trust with their photographer and makes them more comfortable in the process which will do wonders for the experience on their wedding day. For us that means the world as the most important thing for us is that you have a great experience.
For Kelly and Sam’s save the date session we met up with them at their amazing wedding venue Greenbrier Farms. It is always so much fun working there. Talk about so many awesome spots for photos! We started the session out in the field by “the tree” . If you’ve ever been out there you know what I’m talking about. It’s probably my favorite of the ceremony locations at Greenbrier Farms. It’s like that place was meant for weddings. After some fun around the tree we stopped for a few shots with Kelly and Sam’s fur baby and it was off the pond for some shots. As the sun began to set we made our way to the vineyard to finish up the evening with something I want to do a lot more of in the future…champagne popping photos! This was so much fun! And the photos were some of my favs from the session.
I has such a great time with these two and can’t wait to celebrate with them this fall!
