Shooting at a venue that is new to us is always a treat. Finding the best light and best little hidden spots is invigorating to the creative spirit. For Amy’s Famoda Farm bridal session it was our first time out there and I have to say I am impressed with all that they offer. Set on a real working farm of 300 acres that overlook the mountains, there are quite a few awesome spots for photos. Words really have a hard time doing it justice.
We started off the day in front of the main barn using the doors as really cool backdrop. Amy was absolutely stunning in her dress and don’t even get me started about her shoes. I mean who doesn’t love the sparkly goodness! They totally remind me of one of my favorite guitars that I own! We made our way around the farm in the fields before we decided to use one of their vintage couches as a prop out in the field as sunset began. We finished up sunset in front of the event barn out where it overlooks the mountains. What a view and what a sunset. Its really hard to beat the Upstate SC sunsets!
So glad that we can finally share these epic shots since now it is after their wedding (congrats guys! can’t wait to share those photos!) Please enjoy some of my favorite shots of this awesome Famoda Farm bridal session!
Its no secret that when given the chance we like to do some outside of the box different shots that really play with the light . This shot above is one of my favs from the session!
Its like that vintage couch was made for a bride! The perfect photo shoot accessory!
Those shoes rock! Some of my favorites I have seen!
I love how the property has so many scenic views! Look at those mountains in the background!
