I had a blast with Nicole and Willis for their Famoda Farm Engagement Session. We couldn’t have timed it better for the perfect fall leaves color although I have to say the weather felt more like winter day of. The week before I think we had 80 degree weather and that day it was more like 40. But after this warm fall season it was welcomed with open arms. Can I just rave for a minute about how awesome of a backdrop Famoda Farms is? I mean mountain views on a real working farm equals amazing!
We started off the session with a few shots in front of this really cool old red barn and then made our way into the pasture behind it form some really cool shots that really showed off the fall theme of the session. After some time in the pasture we made our way back up to the main event barn where right outside there was porch swing that was made for moments like this. Seriously the moment these two sat down and covered up with a blanket it looked like a scene out of Southern Living magazine.
As sunset began to move in we took a quick ride to the other side of the farm (yes its big enough that you have to drive from one side of the property to another!) to one of my favorite spots on the farm. I mean this spot is made for sunset. Picture a wide open field facing the sunset and right at the bottom there is this little patch of tall grass that is just perfect. It was epic!
I had such a great time with these two and can’t wot to celebrate their wedding next Spring. Please enjoy some of my favs from their engagement session at Famoda Farm!
Cheers! -John
