The Loom Wedding – Mary Beth + Maurice – Simpsonville,SC
How great it is to be surrounded by love. That sums up perfectly how it felt to be a part of Mary Beth and Maurice’s awesome wedding at The Loom. From the closeness of bridesmaids, the closeness of the families, to the past teachers and coaches that showed up to witness the union, there was this overwhelming feeling love in the air everywhere you turned. Yet another reason we love our job.
We arrived at the Loom while the girls from Bloom salon in Spartanburg were styling hair and makeup. This was the first time we worked with them and I have to say they were great to work with. The bridemaids were playing an intense game on Heads Up as each waited their turn. After their makeup and hair was done we took some fun shots of the inside The Loom. Since the temperature was well in the 90’s we all agreed it was best to keep the girls inside before the wedding. When Maurice and the groomsmen arrived it was their turn. They all were quick to show off the coordinated super-hero socks that they were wearing. I love the fact that Maurice was wearing Iron Man (I’m a fan of Tony Stark myself)
When Mary Beth made her grand entrance it was amazing. Her and her father stopped at the back of the aisle and made a twirl showing off the ornate styling of the back of Mary Beth’s dress. Maurice was all smiles seeing his bride for the first time. After a beautiful ceremony we shot some family formals and had some time with the wedding party and then it was time for the reception.
The reception was a party. The entire room sang Happy Birthday to Mary Beth’s brother Tal as it was his birthday. After dinner the dancing started up and it never stopped. The Party Machine kept the party going on the dance floor until it was time for the happy couple to make their grand exit between two walls of sparklers.
It truly was an amazing evening and we were so happy to be a part of it. Please enjoy some of my favorite shots from the day!
