Nothing makes me happier than when our couples from past weddings come back to us for other sessions. Its always great to catch up and chat about what has been going on in their lives. When Lauren contacted me about her and Bailey doing an anniversary photo session for their one year I was super excited. You might remember their wedding that we shot at The Old Cigar Warehouse (click the link to see more.) What a great day that was and these two were a dream to work with! So for their anniversary session we decided to meet up in downtown Greenville,SC behind the Peace Center to start our session. From the first click of the shutter I immediately remembered how fun these guys were. And how great they looked on camera. Seriously its like every little mannerism juts looks great. I think it comes from being that comfortable together.
After some time at the Wyche Pavilion we strolled into Falls Park for a few shots before making our way back to the car to head to the West End for sunset. I am in LOVE with the shots we got at sunset. I think it was the perfect location to wrap up the session. We ended the day in a vacant lot across from The Old Cigar Warehouse and directly next to the back of Fluor Field (home of the Greenville Drive. Not only was the light amazing but I think it subtly nods to where their marriage all began. I made sure that The Old Cigar Warehouse was in the background of a few of the shots.
These two were yet again a dream to work with and it was so great seeing them again. Maybe we can make this a yearly thing as I would surely love to work with them again. In the meantime please enjoy some of my favs from the day!
Have a great day if you want to!
