It’s no secret that one of our favorite places in the world to photograph is The Old Cigar Warehouse in downtown Greenville,SC. When Sara and Anthony decided to use it as the backdrop for their engagement session we couldn’t have been happier. They are getting married there so it made perfect sense. We started out the afternoon with some epic shots right away on the staircase. I absolutely love backlighting people in this room but this was the first time i ever tried it during an engagement session and it was even better that I thought it would be. That room has a certain mojo to it.
After some shots inside we made our way out onto the sidewalk in front of the building on S. Main St. There we took some shots while the future bride and groom strolled down the street stopping at times to make them cuddle or make each other laugh. Speaking of laughing I have to say Sara is one of those people that when she laughs her entire face lights up. I absolutely love it. I am already thinking of shots for the wedding day. After taking some photos in front of the building we headed up onto the deck at The Old Cigar Warehouse for some more shots including a lift shot which they nailed.
We had a great time with Sara and Anthony at their Old Cigar Warehouse engagement session. We are so looking forward to their wedding day!
Please enjoy some of my favs from the session!

Love this epic shot of the future bride and groom on the grand staircase inside The Old Cigar Warehouse. They will soon stand in that very spot and day their vows!
