When Melissa and Jacob told me they would be bringing Evie, their beagle puppy with them to their downtown Greenville SC engagement session I was pretty stoked to say the least. Now anyone that knows me knows I am definitely a dog person, despite the fact that I live in a house with 3 Persian cats. Guys that’s what happens when you marry a cat person. Well that and the fact that I have yet to finish fencing in our backyard, but I digress. Every dog I have ever owned in my life was a beagle so I am a little biased as to the fact that there is nothing cuter on the planet than a beagle puppy. I knew it would be the prefect addition to this session.
We met up at Falls Park in downtown Greenville,SC in the afternoon and even though there was a little bit of rain in the area it never fully poured on us just a little drop or two here or there. We strolled down into the park stopping at a few of my favorite spots for some great shots including one of my favs with Melissa and Jacob looking off into the distance with the now famous Greenville landmark Liberty Bridge in the background. I don’t think there is a better symbol of awesome little city then that bridge. Towards the end of the session we stopped for a little more time with Evie and let me tell you that dog is a natural for the camera. I am not kidding when I say she needs her own Instagram.
I had a blast strolling though the park and chatting with these two. One of my favorite things about the pre-wedding engagement sessions is getting to connect with our couples personally and really getting to know them and their personalities. I can’t wait for Melissa and Jacob’s wedding this winter!
Please enjoy some of my favorite shots from the day!
