Bay Family – Greenville SC Family Photographer

One of the best things about our job is the relationships that we make with our clients. Truth be known I hate the word “client” because our couples become a lot more than that. And with some I feel like we make lifelong friendships. That is definitely the case with Ashley and Chad. We shot their engagement, bridal and wedding photos back in 2013 (wow, has it really been that long ago) and have been friends with them ever since. It has been really cool watching them start their family together and seeing their amazingly cute little girl grow up. Anne and I were excited when they contacted us to do a family session in Greenville.

After discussion on locations for their family photo session, the Rock Quarry Garden was chosen. That place is always landscaped immaculately and is a perfect place for a family session, especially in the springtime. We arrived to find the flowers in bloom, the grass bright green (although I don’t want to know what they have to do to get it that green), and a glowing afternoon sunlight. From the very first press of the shutter it was evident that this was going to be a fun session, and fun it was. We strolled though the entire park, only stopping for an occasional snack break, and even had some fun with bubbles. I can’t begin to tell you how amazing their little girl was. She could have a career as a child model. At the end of the day we got some great shots, and had so much fun getting to hang out and catch up. I’ve always said that I love my job so much because it doesn’t feel like a job and this is definitely one of those times that reminds me of that. Please enjoy some of my favorites from the session.
