Sometimes working at the mercy of the weather can be a major pain in the…well you know. However sometimes things fall together that when rescheduling that are meant to be and make the session even better than originally planned. That was definitely the case for Renee and Eric’s Winter Furman University Engagement in Greenville,SC.
We had originally planned for an afternoon session that day however with the impending threat of rain we decided to move to a morning session and it couldn’t have been a better setting. There was a nice overcast sky making some amazingly soft light, perfect temperature, and did I mention how peaceful the Furman campus is in the morning Its like we had the place almost all to ourselves.
We met up in the Rose Garden (one of my favorite places) and headed out from there, strolling around the campus making several stops along the way beside their gorgeous lake for some epic shots. I even found a new spot on the other side of the lake with a completely different look. I tend to favor locations such as Furman that are anything but a one-trick pony. Engagement session tip of the day: When choosing a location pick a place that has multiple looks all with a short distance. It adds so much variety to the end results!
I had a great time with these guys chatting and hanging out at their engagement session. Looking forward to their Spring wedding!
Please enjoy some of my favs from the day!
