Normally February in Greenville, SC can be a little cold, however this February we have had unseasonably warm 70 degree plus weather which makes it perfect for engagement sessions! When we discussed locations with Katlyn and Erik for their session they loved the idea of downtown Greenville but not a specific spot. We LOVE those kind of sessions where we meet up and just wander though our beautiful downtown area stopping for a photo when inspiration hits or we see a cool spot.
We met up with Katlyn and Erik outside Spill the Beans at the top of Falls Park. It was crazy busy in the park. I think the entire city of Greenville was out that afternoon. Since it was so busy there we decided to stroll down towards west end and stop at a couple of out of the way spots along the way for some photos. Afterwards we headed back towards the park stopping at the corner of Augusta and Main for a few shots in front of the infamous Coca Cola wall. I really hope they never decide to re-paint that! We ended the evening wandering though Falls Park for a few shots including one of my favs with Liberty Bridge in the background after the sun had set leaving an almost purple tint to the sky. So epic!
We had a great time hanging out with Katlyn and Erik! One of my favorite things about pre-wedding engagement sessions is getting to spend time with the couple and really getting to know them. We can’t wait for their wedding in July! I know it will be so much fun!
Please enjoy some of my favorite shots from the afternoon!
