It was such a pleasure to be a part of Alison and Jude’s St. Matthew Catholic Church Charlotte NC Wedding. We first met the couple when we shot their engagement session while Alison was still living in Greenville,SC. After working with them they asked if we would be interested in traveling up to Charlotte to be their wedding photographers for the big day and after such a good time at that session we of course said yes. While we shoot most of our weddings in the Upstate of SC we love going to Charlotte or the coast for a different change of pace. It is always fun shooting in a venue that is new to us. It is even better when we get to work with a couple as fun as Alison and Jude. I know I’m biased, but we truly have the best brides and grooms.
From the beginning of the day until the end of the evening Alison and Jude’s Charlotte NC wedding was an amazing event and we are so thankful to have been a part of it. Please enjoy some of our favs from the day.

After the ceremony at St. Matthews the wedding party headed back to the bride and groom’s house for a few photos. There were so many cool spots in their neighborhood. It was like there were several mini parks hidden within walking distance.
Alison’s bouquet was absolutely beautiful!
We had some fun with the couple at sunset during the reception.

The girls from Charlotte Sugaring were on hand to do makeup of the wedding party. It was a pleasure working with them!

The room at Georges Brasserie looked amazing setup for the wedding reception!
Loved their gorgeous cake! They also had an ice cream dessert bar setup for guests. How cool!
The food at Georges Brasserie was beyond amazing. If you are near the Charlotte NC area I highly recommend trying them out.
There were so many touching speeches during the reception. You could feel the love in the room.
