Travelers Rest, SC Wedding Venue – South Wind Ranch

Earlier this summer we had the pleasure of touring a new Travelers Rest, SC Wedding Venue , The South Wind Ranch. The first time I laid eyes on the property I was blown away by the sweeping hillsides and scenic mountain views. And did I mention there is a private lake that sits in the middle of the property! Couples looking for a wedding venue option just minutes away from Greenville with the feel of being out in nature should definitely give them a look. The vision and plans that Ron (the property owner) has for this venue are unlike anything we have heard of in this area. Couples will be lined up to get married here.

After our initial meeting we were asked If we would could come out and do an impromptu session with a pair of brides and grooms on the grounds. We of course jumped at the chance to get to capture some of this beautiful scenery and work with an unknown canvas of sorts. Needless to say our creative minds were spinning at full speed from the moment we walked out on the property. From rustic docks on the lake and chicly disheveled barns to a mountain sunset view (which happens to be the location of one of the chapels being built) there was no shortage of backdrops. I can’t wait to get back out there again.
