I’ve said it before that I LOVE it when couples put their own unique personal touches on their wedding. Whitney and Micah’s Noah’s Event Venue Wedding was a perfect example of that. From the decor, to the favors, to the amazing intro music. (Yes, the groom and his groomsmen made their entrance to the ceremony as “Dual of the Fates” by John Williams played. You might remember that from the Star Wars prequels) it had glimmers of their personalty everywhere.
After some time with both the bridesmaids and groomsmen as they got ready Whitney and Micah chose to do a first look and it was awesome. I know I’ve said it before and I’m not one to push a couple either way on doing a first look or not but…….I have to admit it really is a special moment. An intimate moment with no one else watching, well except for us photographers haha. And it allows us to have so much more time with our couples for photos without the time restrictions of a typical wedding day. It is a luxury I always appreciate. And I’ve never in our 10 years of shooting weddings, every had a couple say they wished they didn’t do it. But I digress.
Their ceremony was beautiful. Its like the room at Noah’s Event Venue was made for October weddings. Both ends of the room had sliding doors open allowing a slight breeze to blow though making it feel like an outdoor wedding except it was indoors. Perfection. And their vows were to use the word again, personal.
The reception was a party from the word go. Jumping Jukebox kept the dance floor packed and the guests dancing all night. Halfway through we got to sneak the couple out for an amazing sunset! At the end of the evening the happy couple had an epic sparkler grand exit. What a day. I’m so happy that they chose us to be a part of their awesome day. I cant wait for everyone who attended to see these photos. Please enjoy some of my favs from the day.
