When Sila told me that she wanted to use the Kilgore-Lewis House as a location for her bridal session I was ecstatic. This pre civil-war house sits on the edge of downtown Greenville,SC and is known for its charm and its amazing gardens. Then again it is managed by the Greenville Council of Garden Clubs so are we surprised?

We met up with Sila at the house and immediately headed out back into the gardens for some amazing shots as golden hour began. The light was beyond amazing. I always kid around and say that I am an “available light photographer” in the sense of I always make sure I have plenty of light available whether that is studio flash, on camera flash, or natural light. Well in this case there was no need for any artificial light. The sun was perfect. And so was the model and the dress. Sila totally rocked it out like a total model. And can you believe she did her bouquet herself! I thought it looked amazing!

We had an amazing day with Sila for her Kilgore Lewis House Bridal Session! Please enjoy some of my favorites from the day!

Bridal Session Location – Kilgore-Lewis House

The light coming though the trees in the garden was magical during the start of golden hour.

Sila’s bridal dress was absolutely stunning! The detail was so intricate.

The epic Southern style front porch was asking for epic off camera lighting. I love how this turned out!

Once we lost our light outside we moved inside the house and found this amazing little couch. It made for a great backdrop for some shots!

We had so much fun hanging out with Sila! I love this shot that caught her mid laugh!

This shot was one of my favs from the session!
