Greenville,SC Anniversary Session at the Rock Quarry Garden – Rochelle + Reggie

I love it when we get to work with past brides and grooms after their weddings.  Whether they are bridesmaids or groomsmen in a friend’s or sibling’s wedding, getting to photograph their first child, or an anniversary session it is always a pleasure.  When we discussed locations for Reggie and Rochelle’s Greenville SC Anniversary Session, the Rock Quarry Garden came to mind. It is a great place  hidden near downtown that offers beautiful scenery. And the light looks great here almost any time of day which is a plus as well. It proved to be the perfect location.

We met up at the Rock Quarry in the morning and from the first press of the shutter I was reminded how much I liked working with these two. They both have awesome senses of humor and had me laughing the entire session.  We made our way around the garden stopping for great photo opportunities wherever they presented themselves. Some of my personal favorites were near the rock bridge and the bamboo near the back of the park. We ended the session with a short walk over to Cleveland Park for a few shots on the bridge there to cap off the day.

I had a great time with Rochelle and Reggie! It’s hard to believe it’s already been over one year since their wedding day! Please enjoy some of my favorites from their anniversary session!

The Rock Quarry Garden in downtown Greenville SC is absolutely beautiful in the summer time. It made the perfect backdrop for Reggie and Rochelle’s anniversary photo session!

In the corner of the park there is this bamboo that makes for an awesome photo location. You would never know that you are a short walk away from downtown Greenville!
