Clemson SC Wedding – Caitlin + Adam
One of the best compliments that we can get as a wedding photographer is when a family that we have worked with in the past hires us to shoot another wedding in their family. It’s even better when it was one of our favorite families that we have ever worked with. We met Caitlin last year when we shot her sister and brother in law Alex and Nate’s awesome wedding. I can’t tell you how happy we were when we got the call to shoot Caitlin and Adam’s amazing Clemson SC wedding.
They met in Clemson so it was perfect that their ceremony was at the beautiful St. Andrews Church just a stones throw away from campus. We arrived the morning of the ceremony at the church, and the weather was perfect. It was bright and sunny with amazing puffy white clouds across the sky and warm but not hot. We spent some time shooting details and with the girls as they helped Caitlin into her dress. Afterwards we took the girls outside in front of the church for some formals and some fun shots. And these girls brought the fun. One of my favorite bride and bridesmaids shot to date was taken a little later in the day of them all throwing their shoes in the air. I think this shot represents how most bridesmaids feel after hours in those heels. I don’t know how they do it!
After our fun with the girls it was the guys turn. We shot some great shots outside with them as well. They were a lot of fun as well and were up for anything. They were even ok with my request for a shot of them holding the girls’ flowers. That always makes for some great expressions!
Once the beautiful ceremony was over we took some family formal shots and headed to the reception. One of my favorite things about this reception was that it really showed their personality. I can’t emphasize enough how much better wedding receptions are when couples put their own personal touches to it. Everywhere you turned their were subtle nods to their interests and hobbies . The cupcake topper was even Dr. Who themed! Everyone in attendance had a blast and it was truly an amazing evening. You could feel the love in the room and it was as evident as it was when i shot their engagement session that Caitlin and Adam were perfect for each other. We can’t thank them enough for letting us be a part of their amazing day.
Here are some of my favorites from the day!
