It’s hard putting words together that can even accurately describe how much fun I had shooting Jaimie’s bridal session in Greenville,SC. We had all the elements of a perfect bridal session : a stunning bride with flawless makeup, a gorgeous bouquet from an amazing floral artist, and a location that won South Carolina home of the year. To say we were blessed is an understatement.

We started the day off at the bride’s mom’s house for a few shots in their gorgeous living room next to the baby grand piano and some on her staircase. From there we moved along to our main location and wow. Even though we had the pleasure of shooting in this home last year it still amazes me walking though it. I mean this place is more than a house, its truly a work of art decorated to perfection by the talented Meranda Bailey.

We started outside by the pool and fountain and had absolute perfect light. Add to that the fact that Jaimie is a photographer’s dream for a model. At times I felt like she read my mind as she would fall right into poses with little direction. From there we made our way back inside stopping at several spots in the house including my favorite, the sitting area in the master bedroom that consists of an amazing chair surrounded by perfect soft window light in 180 degrees. Its like this place was made for a bridal session. we finished up the evening with some shots on the grand staircase that are fashion magazine worthy.

It was an absolute blast working with Jaimie! It has been so hard to wait until after her wedding to share these photos.
