When thinking about Leah and David’s Blue Ridge Engagement Session one of the words that comes to mind is epic. Another would be intimate. I know you are asking how do those words go together? Well by definition the word intimate means personal. For the location they chose to shoot at their house on their land. There were so many personal touches from the old truck to his military dog tags, to the pond where they go fishing. I have always said that when couples can make it personal and really show their personality it makes the session that much better. Well Leah and David hit it out of the park. and there were some epic moments!
We had such a great time hanging out with these two and I already feel like we’ve made friends for life. I can’t wait for thier wedding in 2017.
Please enjoy some of my favs from the day!

I love the smile Leah has in this photo. I could tell after the first few moments I spent around these two at our first meeting that they were absolutely crazy in love .
The fall leaves were in full force. They made for a perfect backdrop for several photos. Have I mentioned that we LOVE fall engagement sessions!
We spent some time out by the pond on their property and these two looked so cute fishing together!
The light out by the dock was perfect!
David was so funny during the session. He had us all laughing!
This had to be one of my favorite spots that we shot at. This old truck was one that has been in David’s family for years and was one he has fond memories of from his childhood. Not only did it look amazingly cool, but there were stories about it which makes it so much more personal.
Are these two models are what?
Love , love, LOVE these two standing in the tall grass. It looks like the scene from a movie!
Another awesome personal touch, Leah brought along David’s military dog tags, which was the perfect place to do a shot of her gorgeous ring.
