Timberock at Hopkins Farm Wedding – Emily + David – Greenville,SC Wedding Photographers
One of the many perks of our job is that we get to visit some of the most beautiful places in North and South Carolina. Timberock at Hopkins Farm is no exception. Emily and David’s gorgeous wedding was our first time visiting this amazing venue. I must admit I love shooting at venues for the first time. I think one of the things that I love the most about wedding photography is that our environment is always changing. No matter how many times we shoot at a venue it is always a little different. The weather might be different which causes the light to act a little different. It keeps you on your toes looking for the perfect light. Well there was an abundance of that perfect light at Emily and David’s wedding.
We started off the day with the girls as they got ready. Once they had there makeup and hair ready we took them outside and found several spots on the property where we took photos of Emily and her bridesmaids. They were so much fun. They had no problem letting go and having fun in front of the camera and it totally shows in the photos. We have really been blessed with some awesome wedding parties this season. After our time with the girls we hung out with the guys and took some shots of them on the other side of the farm near an old shed that was filled with antique farm equipment. It was such a cool backdrop for the groomsmen.
The ceremony was beautiful. Did I mention that I LOVE outdoor ceremonies? Emily and David were married under a lone tree in the middle of a rolling meadow on the farm. As the afternoon sun began to lower in the sky it was breathtaking. After some time with the family and the wedding party we moved under the covered pavilion for the announcing of the wedding party and the reception. The place settings were immaculate. The food was amazing. The onsite chef prepared a true farm to table feast for the guests to dine on as the party went on into the evening. DJ Jeromee kept the party going as the guests danced the night away.
I have to also give a big shout out to Gina who planned the entire event (which was flawless). She should really look into getting back into the wedding planning industry.
We had such a great time with Emily, David, their friends, and their family. Please enjoy some of my favorite shots of their beautiful Timberock at Hopkins Farm Wedding !
