Grand Highlands at Bearwallow Mountain Wedding – Julianna + Jordan – Hendersonville, NC Wedding Photographers
Julianna and Jordan’s Grand Highlands at Bearwallow Mountain Wedding had all the ingredients for an amazing day : a beautiful mountaintop setting right outside of Hendersonville,NC , weather that was perfect(despite an early threat of rain), guests ready to have a good time, an AMAZING sunset, and two people that are crazy in love. Oh and I almost forgot a vintage Ford Mustang!
On our drive up to Hendersonville we drove through some pretty bad but brief storms, so my fingers were crossed that they were heading away from us. The sky did darken at times but thankfully the rain missed us. We arrived at Grand Highlands to meet up with Julianna and the girls to take some photos of them getting ready. All of them seemed in great moods which is always a good sign that the day is going to be awesome. I know I’ve said it before but I can usually tell in the first five minutes of us meeting up with the girls in the morning of the wedding how the day is going to go. After some shots of them getting hair and makeup, we took some shots of shoes and dress which include one of my favorite dress shots of the year. Of course I have to admit that it does help that Julianna’ s dress was GORGEOUS! Once she was dressed and ready we spent some time capturing some great moments with her and Taylor the flower girl (and also Jordan’s daughter). It was so cute how she looked up at Julianna. Then we took the bridesmaids outside for some fun shots with the amazing mountain backdrop that is Grand Highlands. Seriously, in every direction there is a breathtaking view.
Once we had the girls put up and away we took some time with Jordan and his groomsmen taking some fun shots of them. After this Anne and I split up to capture the pre wedding moments with each group. The guys seemed so relaxed just hanging out in downstairs room that was prepared for them. I love it that they all prayed together before the wedding as well.
The ceremony was breathtaking. And my favorite shot of the ceremony…the look on Jordan’s face when he first saw Julianna walking down the aisle. Future groom’s take notes. This is quite possibly the perfect expression for this photo. It screams pure joy and love. After the ceremony we spent some time with the family and it was off to the reception. The guests danced the evening away as the sun began to go down. We were lucky enough to sneak Julianna and Jordan out at sunset for some epic shots of them with her Grandfather’s vintage Mustang and at the cross where they were married. The sunset was unreal! The end of the night was capped off by an elegant sparkler leave.
We had a great time with these two, their family, and their friends. Please enjoy some of my favorites from this amazing wedding!
