Downtown Greer Bridal Session – Julia – Greenville SC Wedding Photographers

Ever since we left Greer City Park with Julia that afternoon I knew that the hardest thing about her bridal session would be waiting to show the world these photos. Seriously, I know I’ve said it before but the hardest thing shooting an amazing bridal session is the fact that nobody except the bride can see the photos until after the wedding.  This session was no exception.

We met Julia in beautiful downtown Greer on a Sunday afternoon for her bridal session and the weather was perfect, blue skies with little breeze in the air. We started out at one of my favorite spots in downtown Greer, a little alley way behind City Park. There is this gorgeous red door on the side of a building (which I hope they never paint because it looks amazing) that is perfect for contrasting against a bridal dress. We also had a guest appearance by Julia’s dog. I always love it when couples involve their pets in their wedding photos. It is yet another way to let a little of their personality show. From there we took a stroll through the park making stops at the gazebo out on the pond, in front of the fountain in the middle of the park, and another of my favorite spots in the city, the infamous painted Pepsi wall. The “Pepsi Wall” as I call it is a huge painted advertisement on the hide of a building across from the park that looks very 1950’s style. It is a great backdrop for high school senior portraits as well as bridals.

We ended the evening in the field at the front of the park at sunset, and an amazing sunset it was. I can’t even begin to tell you how awesome Julia did. She is a total rockstar. Some people simply connect with the camera and she is definitely one of those people. From the very first shot to the last sunset shot we had a great time with Julia. I am so happy to share these photos.
