Clemson Outdoor Lab Wedding – Alex + Nate
I could tell the first time we met Alex and Nate that they were going to be a fun couple to work with. They were both so laid back and happy on their wedding day…and obviously in love with each other. Being around this kind of love can’t help but put you in a great mood. This vibe was contagious on their wedding day. Seriously this was a great group of people to spend the day with.
We met the bridal party at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Clemson. After some detail shots we spent some time with the girls as Alex put on her amazing dress. We found the perfect spot in front of the old St. Andrew’s Church to take some shots of the girls. The old chapel had this amazing vibe both inside and out. The red door in the front of the church was the perfect spot to take some photos of Alex by herself in the dress. After some fun photos with the girls it was the guys’ turn, and they did not disappoint in the enthusiasm department. I wish I could have filmed a behind the scenes video of this part of the day. Both the groomsmen and the bridesmaids were up for any creative photos ideas we had plus they had some great ones of their own. I love it when the bridal party has their own personal touch on the fun individual photos with them and the bride/groom.
After a beautiful ceremony at St. Andrew’s and some family photos in the old chapel we headed to the Clemson Outdoor Lab which is located right on the water of Lake Hartwell. The details of the reception were awesome. The yellow/ gray color scheme was highlighted by some beautiful flower arrangements from the very talented Renee Burroughs Designs. After the guests ate dinner there was a special surprise appearance by none other than the Clemson Tiger himself! The guests danced the evening away until the couple made their exit through bubbles and a confetti cannon (which was awesome!).
We had such a great time with Alex and Nate! Please enjoy some of my favorites from the day!
