Chattooga Belle Farm Wedding – Karen + Bryant – Long Creek,SC
It is no secret that Chattooga Belle Farm weddings are among my favorite. If you hit the weather lottery like Karen and Bryant it is even better. Driving up to Chattooga Belle Farm that morning there were leaves on the ground, skies as blue as can be, and just a hint of fall crispness in the air. Literally the perfect setting for what was a perfect day.
We arrived at a cabin in Whitewater just minutes from the farm where the girls were getting ready and having their makeup and hair done by the amazing Trisha with Cotton Rouge. We took some shots of the dress and shoes, including one of my favorite dress shots of the year (where it is hanging from the top of the three story staircase as light peers in a window) and it was time for Karen to put on the dress. The room where she was getting ready had hands down some of the best natural light that I have seen all year. Seriously if any brides getting married at Chattooga Belle Farm are looking for a place to get ready look no further than this cabin.
After Karen was in the dress we headed to the farm for the first look with Bryant. The setting was yet again perfect. I stood in the vineyard with Bryant as he awaited Karen’s arrival and you could just see it on his face how happy he was be there. She made her grand entrance from the farm and when she was about 6 feet away he turned to see her in the dress for the first time. As many times as we see these moments they never get old and they are always different.
After some pre wedding fun with the girls and the guys (which both groups totally rocked it) Karen and Bryant both read letters from each other and it was time for the ceremony. Their ceremony was gorgeous and included a sand ceremony with Bryant’s daughter.
From there it was time to party. From the moment the bridal party was introduced it was a good time had by all. Guests filled the dance floor and some even slipped away to the bonfire/smores bar for a quick sweet treat. I love how they really made this day personal and unique. Instead of a wedding cake they had a wedding cobbler which was amazing! At the end of the evening they made their grand exit to the limo though a sea of sparklers.
Karen and Bryant were so much fun to work with and their day was as amazing as they are. Please enjoy some of my favs from the day!
