Botanical Garden Engagement – Tiffany + Eric – Clemson,SC
What makes an epic engagement session? I think it is simple. Start with an engaged couple that is crazy about each other and comfortable with each other. Have them choose a location that is special to them. Make sure that their outfits are coordinated but not match. (In other words no cliche beach photo all white and khaki style matching) And if they would like to bring props by all means bring props. Tiffany and Eric really hit it out of the park as far as preparation for their session. They followed all of the above and then some. Add to that they are obviously crazy about each other (and it shows in the photos) and you have an epic engagement session.
They made an excellent choice of the Botanical gardens in Clemson,SC for their location. (Tiffany is a Clemson grad. ) We met them at the train car to start the day and went from there. We began our way toward the Hunt cabin when we came along the perfect bench to do some shots with the amazing balloon/tassle combo that Tiffany had brought along. I can’t even begin to explain how little elements such as this can really add personality to a session and give it the extra push above the norm. From there we found several other stops along the way before arriving at the Hunt cabin. This is one of my favorite spots in the garden. There they changed outfits and we got some great shots that could easily be confused as a Ralph Lauren ad. Seriously these guys totally rocked it and looked like models.
After the cabin we headed to another out of the way part of the garden that I love for sunset. There we utilized several of the props they brought along from a really cool pennant date sign, the balloon, and my favorite a baritone ukulele. They were even cool enough to sing us a song during the session.(Both of them have great singing voices and Anne will tell you I don’t just say that about anybody)
We had a super awesome time with Tiffany and Eric. They will be my new text book example of how to totally rock an engagement session. Please enjoy some of my favs from the day.
