Chattooga Belle Farm Wedding – Long Creek,SC – Elizabeth+Adam

Couple after their wedding at Chattooga Belle Farm kissing.

It was a day for smiles. Lots and lots of smiles and good wishes. Elizabeth couldn’t keep from grinning as she donned her wedding dress (Carolina Traditions, Spartanburg, SC) just hours before she said “I do” to Adam. She and the bridesmaids were such a joyous bunch. The bridesmaids wore full length green gowns from Magnolia Bridal in Greenville, SC.

Even a pre-wedding love letter from Adam – that misted up her eyes – just added to the bliss of the day.   The couple couldn’t have asked for a prettier setting for a wedding … Chattooga Belle Farm in Long Creek, SC. It’s part orchard, part winery and all rustic gorgeousness. The back of the barn opens with large sliding doors onto a covered patio that frames the 270 degree view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. All you see for miles is rolling hills spotted with grapes vines. Adam and the groomsmen relaxed on porch swings before lining up for the ceremony.

Adam and Elizabeth said their vows as friends and family watched. The reception, also at Chattooga Belle, boasted tablescapes that included lighted mason jars and photos of the couple throughout the years – a very personal touch. Guests were treated to gifts from Chattooga Belle’s farm store – bottles of local honey, jams, apple butter and more. Berley Stabler, of Pros Only DJ, keep the party going with dancing and the couple cut not one but two different cake, including a decadent looking Reese’s Cup chocolate groom’s cake.

As the sun set, we were able to get some breathtaking photos of the couple. And as the evening ended, the couple dashed past guest holding sparklers.

Please enjoy!

The Loom Simpsonville SC Wedding – Talisha+Patrick

Groom and Bride doing the dip outside of The Loom in Simpsonville,SC.

At one point and time during Talisha and Patrick Ratliffe’s wedding reception at The Loom in Simpsonville, we both looked over at the dance floor and were just amazed. The groomsmen and friends could really dance. And was that Patrick? Patrick was tearing up the dance floor with his friends. We were in awe, snapping photos as the wedding party and guests danced the night away. Some weddings are fun, some are emotional. This wedding was a great blend of both. The ceremony was at the Life Restoration Center in Greenville, followed by a reception at The Loom. The cake was a wonderful confection created by Kathy and Co. The Party Machine kept the party going.  Talisha’s dress, from Dimitra Design, was unique, just like Talisha. Personal details really helped make the day special, including when members of fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha sang to fellow brother Patrick and sorority members of Alpha Kappa Alpha sang to sister Talisha. The evening wrapped up as the couple headed out the door with a sparkler leave.

Poinsett Hotel Rooftop Wedding Teaser – Greenville,SC – Billie + Jamie

Sometimes our job is easy. You take a bride and a groom, put them in an amazing vintage Mustang, the light falls amazing from a sunset, and click…..magic. Here are a couple of teasers from Billie and Jamie’s big day. I can’t wait to share the rest, especially some more from one of my favorite places in downtown Greenville, the roof of the Westin Poinsett. If any of you brides out there are considering having your reception at this historic venue, i highly recommend it.  The place is beautiful and historic, the staff is amazing, and there is magic on the roof that i can’t explain. It can only be experienced.

Enjoy

Sarah Kate + Adam : Engage – Greenville, SC – Engagement Photos with Motorcycle

What do you get when you have a really fun couple, a farm out in the country, a gorgeous  afternoon, and… a motorcycle? An amazing engagement session! A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of shooting an e-session with Sarah Kate and Adam. With Sarah Kate being an artist herself (be sure and check out her line of custom shoes) and Adam being a motocross racer we had plenty of inspiration. It’s always so much fun when couples really let their guard down and put their personality out there, and i totally think it shows in their photos. We had so much fun hanging out with them and can’t wait to shoot their wedding this Summer!

Please enjoy a few from the session! The rest can be found on our facebook page.
